One of the commonest requirements of any system used to display measurements of some parameter is a simple box showing the most recent value of that parameter. Even the most basic parameter, say air temperature, is meaningless if taken out of context.
Many other real time display systems treat a measurement as just a numerical value, so that an air temperature of -2.3° Celsius at some location X and altitude Y is reduced to a floating point.
The careful design of ARTEMeS has ensured that measurements are always associated with vital metadata about the measurements, so that data can never be taken out context, and that any rules regarding the display of the parameter are enforced.

The data shown here are from an Airmar weather station on the roof of Alphecca System's office in the UK.

The displays shown here are static images, generated on the server every time the page is requested. They show the most recent values of weather parameters measured in real time at Alphecca System's office.

All ARTEMeS displays incorporate multilingual metadata which may be held in any language or character set for which translation is available.
Users of the ARTEMeS system may access their data in their own language; simultaneously other users may see the same data in a different language. These six displays may be requested to be shown in English, Russian, Welsh or Arabic by clicking on the flags to the right.
